What Freebase stores, why, and for how long.

Operator details still to be supplied

The following information still needs to be supplied by the operator and has not been invented here:

  • Legal entity and jurisdiction
  • Data retention periods
  • Data protection contact
  • Applicable rights procedure

Freebase stores the account details needed to sign you in, the dossiers you file, the tools you are authorised to manage, and the decisions taken on them. Measurement is limited to what is needed to show a creator how their listing performs; it is first-party data, never global data exposed to everyone, and no invasive fingerprinting is used.

Private files you upload as evidence stay private and are not published. Their access is checked on every read, and deleting a link is not treated as deleting a file.

The retention periods and the exact procedure for exercising your rights are part of the missing operator information below and will be published before this page is indexable.
